One of my best loved travel pics! Of the trikuta hoysala temple of somnathpura, near Mysuru. This is a small, but stunning example of hoysala architecture from 13th century. It is rare to find this temple so empty, I love this image because it takes in the grandeur of the temple while highlighting its serenity. Hindu architecture is so intricate, so profound, so symbolic! Pity how Hindu temples are never promoted as much as Mughal tombs in India!
